Project Snapshot
Industry: Fintech / Web3 Wallet & Payments
Services: Blockchain Development, Mobile App Development, Web App Development
Blockchain: EVM networks, TRON, Bitcoin, Solana (30+ networks)
Description
Fizen is a self-custody Web3 wallet that grew into a crypto "super app" - a single mobile app where users can hold, send, and spend digital assets in everyday life. Built around stablecoins such as USDT, Fizen lets users pay merchants by QR code, use a crypto card, send money across borders, top up travel eSIMs, buy gift cards, and access tokenized real-world assets, all while keeping full control of their own keys. On the merchant side, Fizen allows businesses to accept crypto payments and receive instant fiat settlement through familiar methods like QR codes and card readers, with no extra infrastructure required. Our team engineered the platform end to end: a cross-platform Flutter mobile app, multi-chain wallet infrastructure across 30+ networks, high-throughput backend services for payments and transactions, and cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
Highlights
Self-custody wallet with a super app experience - users keep full ownership of their assets while accessing payments, cards, transfers, travel services, and investments from one app.
30+ blockchain networks in a single wallet - EVM networks, TRON, Bitcoin, and Solana supported side by side, so users manage all their assets without switching wallets.
Real-world crypto payments - QR payments for users and instant fiat settlement for merchants make stablecoins practical for daily spending.
Backed by Tether - a strategic investment from the world's largest stablecoin issuer validates the product's technology and its role in stablecoin adoption.
Challenges
1. Unifying 30+ blockchains with very different architectures
EVM chains, TRON, Bitcoin (UTXO model), and Solana each handle accounts, transactions, fees, and token standards differently. Fizen needed to present them as one simple wallet, with consistent balances, history, and transfers, without exposing users to that complexity.
2. Making self-custody both secure and easy for mainstream users
Self-custody means users hold their own keys, so any weakness in key storage or signing directly puts funds at risk. At the same time, the app had to feel as simple as a regular fintech app for users with no crypto background, including travelers, freelancers, and unbanked users.
3. Connecting on-chain assets to real-world payments in real time
Paying by QR, spending with a card, or settling a merchant in fiat means linking on-chain transactions with off-chain payment systems. Every payment had to be fast, accurate, and reliable at scale, with no room for failed or duplicated transactions.
Solutions
1. One wallet for 30+ networks
We built one wallet that brings EVM networks, TRON, Bitcoin, and Solana together, so users manage assets across 30+ networks in a single app.
2. Self-custody with a simple, fintech-style app
We built the mobile app for iOS and Android. Users keep control of their own keys, while the interface keeps everyday actions simple: send, pay, swap, and spend. Users can backup their wallets with passkeys, making it easier for non-crypto users in managing their seed phases and private keys.
3. Payment services for users and merchants
We combine and keep the balance between on-chain and off-chain data to provide optimal user experience. Users manage their funds while still enjoying almost real-time payment transactions.
Results & Impact
600K+ app downloads, showing strong traction for a self-custody wallet beyond crypto-native users.
30K average monthly active users using Fizen for payments, transfers, and asset management.
30+ blockchain networks supported in one wallet, giving users a single home for their multi-chain assets.
Strategic investment from Tether, positioning Fizen as a key player in everyday stablecoin payments.
